Will be redoing the interior and wood, carpets and headliner before car goes to it’s new home in Los Angeles. This nice little car is on consignment from a local TV producer. A 2-owner car–by current owner since 1977–car has led a pampered SoCal existence.
158K miles with original motor rebuilt entirely 57K miles ago, and a clean shifting automatic, car shows the easy comfortable feel of a car that has seen regular service and use. Paint is bright and serviceable, mechanics all in good repair, and a nice leather interior, showing careful use and patina. Starts instantly and runs through the gears smoothly. Nice radio and AC, sunroof.
Rust is limited to a small area in the right front floor pan and an area of early bubbling atop back the RFF under the hood. Accident history is of damage to the right quarter that was repaired correctly with OEM parts in the early ’80′s and is not showing any fatigue or paint fracturing now.
Large after market Webasto sunroof, dealer installed when new, and works fine. In all a very handsome and worthy car with minor needs that can be easily addressed. An attractive driver as is with excellent history and provenance. Shown in the pix as it arrived, and we’ll be doing a bit of detailing and fine tuning as we go.
