Purchased from the estate of the deceased 2nd owner. Numbers matched 2761698 ’72 time. Needs everything, but runs. Shows signs of long-term storage–under some pipes in an underground parking structure, unfortunately–but all there and relatively unmolested. Body is sound but has been ‘nosed’ in years past.
Nice floors and body elsewhere. Mostly original paint, and all original, but shot interior. Interesting car in that it is registered as a ’72 but has the ’73 E12 head and aluminum plenum tubes, as well as the ’73 bumpers, but the ’72 chrome seat bolsters.
A ‘cusp’ car. Neat one to restore in a more vivid color, such as taiga green metallic. The perfect starting point for a show quality restoration. Not interested in selling as is…offered as a build to spec project.
