Have been working on this 72 tii as a personal project for the last few years off and on. As time has been dedicated to other projects, this one has languished a bit. Have pulled it back into the rotation and have made some headway of late.

She was taken down to a shell and squirted in PPG Polaris Neu. All underpinnings are new. Factory rebuilt motor, 5 speed, adjustable rear subframe, brakes, plumbing are all first rate. Having second thoughts about the Recaro seats and probably will replace with a redone stock set. More to come as she moves along…it’s all there, but lots of fit and finish needed

Finally at the point now where we can start a fresh coupe project. The last couple cars we turned out are now on to new homes, and there is definitely some “CS empty nest syndrome” around the shop. Starting this one as a personal project, but it could possibly be available as a build to suit.

This car was a great starting point. Body was near perfect except for some minor rust in the floor that has been fixed. Originally Polaris silver, with no accidents or structural rust. This particular chassis has been through finish body work, primed, and stitch welded for strength.

All we have decided upon at this point is that it’s gonna get squirted in silver. Drivetrain will most likely be a M30 B35 on the spicier side in either motronic 1.3 or Megasquirt for fuel injection management. 5 speed and all the right underpinnings of coarse, but the rest is up in the air. Leaning toward an oxblood red or black leather for the interior. More pics once it’s silver…

Well, the surfer is outta the paint shop and currently silver and the cabin has been sealed with sound deadening material. Next step is undercoating the underside, new suspension, and a M30 B35 all set up for megasquirt II.

Car has had one good quality repaint that has held up well. The brightwork is great, original seats are near perfect, and the weatherstrip is all soft and supple. The body is straight and rust free. This tii is mechanically sound, retaining the numbers matching engine. Runs and drives great, shifts smooth, tracks perfect. Car has been upgraded with a 5 speed, fresh front suspension, bilsteins, and new calipers. Paperwork shows major service at 138k mi, including a new head and injection pump rebuild. Great running, very original tii’s are just not coming up like this anymore.

Coupe air con haths been a royal pain for a while. There are many different ways to put kits together using a myriad of different components. Some work well and some don’t. When our trusted AC shop closed up we decided to put THE kit together that will work flawlessly with every coupe…equipped with carburetors to stand alone fuel injection.

The main driver behind this product was to come up with a kit that will be compatible with the motronic / megasquirt conversions. Aside from the hardline off the evaporator the kit is all o-ring. This is vastly superior to the original crush fit fittings, that are no longer available. The kit includes 4 hoses, new filter drier, rebuilt compressor, new condenser, and either 5 blade or 9 blade E30 aux fan. Aux fan can be new or a detailed used unit

Price includes shipping to USA 48. As of now, we are only selling complete kits. If you have special needs, please inquire…

Polaris silver CSi with a 308hp Euro E34 M5 powerplant. This one is gonna scream when done. Gonna be a lot of work. As is and just off the truck pics below…

UPDATE // Car now runs! Motor / Trans / Exhaust installed and wiring is basically finished. Cooling system, power steering are plumbed. Engine harness needs to be mated to the body harness, front suspension needs to be gone through, brakes need to be plumbed…and then we can get into the interior and trim.
