Coupe air con haths been a royal pain for a while. There are many different ways to put kits together using a myriad of different components. Some work well and some don’t. When our trusted AC shop closed up we decided to put THE kit together that will work flawlessly with every coupe…equipped with carburetors to stand alone fuel injection.

The main driver behind this product was to come up with a kit that will be compatible with the motronic / megasquirt conversions. Aside from the hardline off the evaporator the kit is all o-ring. This is vastly superior to the original crush fit fittings, that are no longer available. The kit includes 4 hoses, new filter drier, rebuilt compressor, new condenser, and either 5 blade or 9 blade E30 aux fan. Aux fan can be new or a detailed used unit

Since the factory stopped producing the E24 diff housing replacement kit, coupe owners have had no good way to beef up or fix this common problem area in the E9. Doing a proper restoration on a coupe is not an all or nothing undertaking. If done in the proper stages an excellent result can be achieved without a huge outlay of funds at one time. This car will have the engine bay repaired as needed, prepped, and sprayed. Factory mats have been removed so we can get an clean starting point.

Offered here is one of the nicest coupes we’ve ever built. No expense spared six figure plus restoration started mid 90′s and completed in ’03. Built to spec for a very fastidious client. Project started restoration with a shop that closed its doors mid way through and brought it to us for assembly. Car arrived as a painted shell on casters with three truck loads full of parts.

Everything done on the car is above and beyond. All the aluminum trim was chromed, underpinnings have all been powdercoated, and every piece of hardware has been plated. The interior is full leather, including the door panels and wrapped dash.

Car has a new 3.5 M30 converted to motronic fuel injection and new HP22 automatic trans that shifts nice and crisp. Can be converted easily to a 5 speed if desired. The owner put less than 500 miles on the car since completion. Car is better than new

Finished Ultralight after complete paint and interior detailing. #’s matching, no stories, pre homologation model. Arguably the most desirable of the CSL’s. One of those projects that was supposed to be a quick after purchase detail and crept into damn near a complete restoration. End result is superb. Off to FL soon…
