This car is available for purchase. The owner has abandoned the project due to economic issues. So as we are already past the point of no return, the project will be continuing. Body can be built to suit and painted per buyer's choice. With or without motor. Enquire to either Erik or Peter. ---- 4.21.09 - The major fab is done. The motor was moved back and down as planned. Custom motor mounts, trans mount, and tunnel work is finsihed. However, we changed direction by making a new intake in order to use a factory tii booster and an upgraded brake system. The factory pedal box is in place and functional. The oil pan was also extensivley reworked and the body was massaged to accept the S14 header. At this point the car has been fitted with a custom stainless exhaust and a rebuilt driveshaft. The project is going into the last stages of mock up before we tear it down for paint and powder coating. ---- 6.30.08 ---- This project will be a properly done S14 motor conversion into a 2002. Other conversions I have seen were ungainly cars with a heavy front end bias that made the end result less fun to drive--for me--than a hopped up tii or deuce. Reason for that is the odd angle the motor needs to go into the engine bay, and the standard motor mounts that place the block more towards the nose. We will be looking here at ways to correct that deficiency with some fab work. Yet to be determined what all it will take, but this site will catalogue what we find. ----
