Nobody cares much for the large alu cast bumpers BMW put onto the ’74-6 2002′s. Changing things over to the euro style items is a difficult and expensive chore. How to make the square light cars look better without breaking the bank? Here’s what I have done with good results over the years. Simply collapse the shocks holding the bumpers to the car and mount the bars closer to the body. Need to trim the bellows and the sightshield too, but overall an easy thing to do. Really cleans up the lines of the car–though you do lose your 5 mph protection.
