For the seats I used a roll of ’70’s vintage OEM BMW cloth material that I had. I like the look as compared with the standard vinyl, it’s correct factory stuff, and is comfortable and durable. Looks good with the Fjord blue exterior as well.
Taken to bare metal and resprayed, then onto the lift where the subframes are removed and the pan cleaned and undercoated. Pix show the process to the current state. Car is now in need of interior–can pick the color and type–and installation of glass, trim and bumpers.
Out of the rafters and onto the ground. Am going to complete the build on this one with a nifty BMW OEM cloth interior and blue carpet and panels. Should be ready in a few weeks.
